I have been traveling for my business and sometime I can't make a time to get to the gym or yoga studio, and I paniced! Plus, the opiton for food is limited, and I am really careful what I eat, but ended up eating not so great and I feel so sluggish and fat whenever I return from the trips.
Besides carrying some snacks to avoid quick fast food meal or eating out too much, my friend suggested me to do quick energy boost workout "whenever I can", "wherever I am".
First, when I get off the bed, I do 10 push ups x 2 sets, 10 ab works x 2 sets (any ab works you like) and 10 reps of hand stand practice. Yes, I said "hand stand". You basiclly just kick up your legs 10 times against the wall, right and left. This 5 min workout quickly stimulates my body, get my heartrate up.
And, you do this every chance you get at least 3 times a day. You don't have to change your outfit, pack and hit the gym or yoga studio. If I can do any of them, that will be my bonus but I do this just in case I can't make it, so I won't panic any more.
It may sound sily first, but this works and I started doing this, right before my meal and whenever I feel like snacking... this works. You don't lose anything (but weight), encouage all to try!
