Since moving to AZ from NYC, I've gained 10+ lbs from the extreme change in going from walking all the time to hardly walking at all. My favorite clothes don't fit well, and I hardly ever let anyone see me in something sleeveless. 

I've had a gym membership since I got here but it was always pretty far from home, and I never quite stuck it out on a workout plan for more than 2-3 weeks whether at the gym or working out at home. Discovering new foods in this area has become a problem too, because they sound so amazing after work when I'm super hungry, but I will decrease the amount of times I eat out or attempt to completely avoid it (unlikely though, due to NY family coming to this state for holidays).

Maybe dietbet will work well for me since I don't feel so alone, and because there's $$$ involved :) I've heard of these kinds of things being done at workplaces or within groups of friends, but not yet online until I talked about something like it with 1 other friend. 

Side note: I don't believe in a scale to be honest (unless you are very overweight). I highly prefer a tape measurement, but I'll participate with the rules anyway.
