First of all, I am so mad that I wrote most of this post and then it accidentally deleted. Curse you, dietbet blog! I’m sticking with Google drive.

So week one is over, I think I have lost some weight! Definitely not going to obsess over this, as it could be water weight. Who knows. But I’m sticking to 1900 cals a day strictly, unless I do cardio that day in which case I eat extra calories. Seems to be working, I was starving the first few days, but I’m okay now :)

For the next three weeks (and on) I want to do the following:

  • drink more water. I feel like I slack on this. I want to get to a gallon a day, currently I probably do half of that. But I absolutely hate peeing so much. It’s so inconvenient, especially at night. SOMEONE COME UP WITH A PRODUCT THAT CAN STOP THIS MADNESS!
  • Walk more. New Hampshire is like, 10 inches deep in snow right now. And counting. So for me to do this, I’d need to stay at the gym for an extra hour on the treadmill, I usually read during this. I wish I owned a treadmill, I’d get so much walking AND reading done!
  • No cheese/whey. I already don’t drink milk, but cheese is soooo good. And my protein shakes consist of soy protein. But the Chocolate Chip Quest Bars I have...are to dieeee for. But they have whey :( and I don’t know if whey is causing me to break out, so I need to experiment.
  • No white bread. Same reasoning as above. Also, it’s not good anyways, and I rarely eat it. But sometimes you just crave a lil baguette…
  • I’m going to start wrapping my left wrist. I think I injured it while bench pressing (I didn’t keep my hand in line with the bar…) and it randomly hurts. Like, it’s not bruised or broken, but sometimes if I move it a certain way, like when I’m typing, it sends a shooting pain down my arm. And sometimes, like once a day, I can’t even make a fist because it hurts so much! I know people say to rest it, ice it, etc...But it honestly doesn’t hurt much when I bench, it’s just random pain at random times. Also, I would really hate to lose strength from not going to the gym if I could just wrap it, not move it as much as possible, and let it heal that way. I hope it works….why does my body hate me!? ah.

Unrelated to fitness: Something unrelated but wanted to add, note to self.

  • I’ve been using coconut oil for my hair as a deep treatment (curly hair ftw…) and I’m pretty sure it’s the cause of some random back breakouts. I thought they might be there because of a bench at the gym, but I think it’s the oil. Also I don’t even know if it helps my hair, and I think it’s causing my face to break out as well (from when I wash the oil out and it runs down my face). Everyone says coconut oil is a life saver and versitile for everything, but maybe not for me :( So no more coconut oil for me till I figure out WHAT exactly is going on. Sadly.  If any fellow curlies have tips etc, let me know :)

I think that’s it.

Hope everyone has a healthy week ahead! :D
