My weight "gained" journey started about 5 years ago. First, I got pregnant in February of 2010, okay graining weight for this is fine.  I gained, I believe around 35 to 40 pounds during this pregnancy.  This was my second child and at age 30 and at 5'7" I weighed about 165 after 3 months post c-section.  Just recently, meaning like September I finally seeked advice on a better way of eating and not doing a "diet".  I started following the "Primal Blueprint" when I found the website www.marksdailyapple.com  

The first two weeks were hard and even felt horrible.  I felt like I had the flu minus the fever and nausea.  Just upset stomach, bodyaches etc.  My body was detoxing from all the sugars and processed foods.  The start of the third week I felt amazing.  More energy and really wasn't craving the foods that I loved so much.  I also saw the results in weight loss but more importantly I wasn't having GI problems any more and I wasn't feeling tired all the time. 

As of today since starting this in September I have lost about 14 pounds.  I feel better as well.  I have not started to work out and haven't done so since having my second child.  This is my goal for starting this diet bet, I NEED to start working out.
