I'm SO excited to join this game! I've been searching for motivation to get back into shape in the New Year and this invite from Ashleigh came at the perfect time! 

 

Over the last 2 years I've lost 30lbs by eating healthy(ish) but mostly by working out. I hired a personal trainer, I was working out 2-3 times per week and lost more weight than I ever have before. All my life I've done what everyone else here has probably done- every fad diet they came across. You name it, I've probably done it. Atkins, Cabbage Soup, HCG, shakes, supplements, everything! But the ONLY thing that has ever worked for me is working out... Shocking right??? LOL They always say the simplest answer is usually the right one. Burn more calories than you're taking in and you will lose weight.

 

So why is it so hard to do? Because at the end of the day, we're regular humans and despite our best efforts we lose the motivation to start exercising and stay exercising. Results can be slow and when we don't see the number on the scale go down fast enough we lose patience and fall off the workout wagon. That's why I'm so excited to join this group and get back on the horse!

 

What's more motivating than money and the feeling of winning? For me, nothing! I'm very competitive and enjoy a challenge so BRING IT ON!!! I look forward to kicking all of your butts, and hopefully losing some of mine!!!! :)
