Intro post: I'm a writer. I need to write things down in order to remember them, process them and stick to them. Writing every day keeps me accountable and motivated. It also gives me a safe place to record my successes, release my failures and plan for the future.
I will post weight/measurement updates only once a week, but will post work outs and food stories every day. My goal for this month is to lose 4% of my body weight (approximately 8 lbs). But I am more focused on the long term goal of being strong, active, and loving myself and my life.

Work out plan: 21 DF (upper body) + 5 km run +1 km swim
Food plan: Keeping it simple, grazable and sustainable. The big key will be to not snack on the kids' food ;)

Hips: 42.5" (44", 47")

Total loss for December: 8" inches total
Total inches loss since August, 2014: 31" and counting.
