Good Morning and Happy New Year! The starting line is almost here. The gun is just about to fire. I can feel my heart began to race and my thoughts began to take over my mind. I can hear the other voices of doubt and of optimism speaking out into the air around me. But as i reach down to tie my shoes and exhale one last time before i focus on MY RACE and on my end goal, I take a moment to pray to my Father in Heaven.
I ask for a few things for my journey. I ask for strength to endure, a calm spirit, a comfortable stride and a more than successful experience. I stand back up, straight and forward and lift my hands into the air and Thank God For My Journey in Jesus name.
Now I'm ready, I'm ready for these weeks to began. I have a goal and purpose in mind! He's part of it and I am Ready! Are you? On you Mark!
