Hi Everyone.  I'm 56 and I retired from 33 years of teaching little kids.  I'm substitute teaching just for fun now.  I told one of the 8 year olds that I was going to lose 20 lbs. in 2015. He backed up about a foot, put his hands on his hips and said, "Hmmmm, well...you're not REAL fat, just a little."  Cracked me up.

So, losing 20 lbs and being 5'1" tall is ALOT to lose.   Much more than my friend who is 5'7" and needs to lose 20.   I went out with a bang on New Year's Eve last night at a friend's wedding.  Her cakes cost $1000 and so I ate my $1000 worth of cake.

I started doing jumping jacks about a week ago, first thing in the morning, before coffee or breakie.  I could only do 15 on day 1 before my ankles started burning.  I decided that they were going to have to burn.  The next day I did 20.  The day after, I did 30, and so on.  Already, I'm doing 50, after a week.  Yes, my ankles don't like it.

I also started doing squats, the same way.  Increasing daily.  Also, wall sits and few others.  I do all these in front of my full length mirror, so I can remind myself how FAT I am, not real fat, just a little fat.  ha!

Good luck to everyone!
