My name is Kate and I work in the technology industry in Washington, DC. Prior to that, I was a classroom teacher for 5 years in Montana. In June, I will be going home for the first time to be in a wedding. My goal is to slim down before the wedding and to buy a smaller sized bridesmaid dress.
In addition to just generally poor health habits, I also have Hashimoto's hypothyroidism and PCOS. I have been working hard to get my health under control and I am ready to tackle the weight. I recently met with my doctor and she suggested a very low carb approach as that tends to be most effective for women with PCOS.
My goal for this particular challenge is to meet the 4% and win, but more than that, I would like to solidify some healthy habits. Most notably, for this challenge, I am going to focus on my diet:
1. Track my eating in MFP daily.
2. Meet my daily macros.
3. Eat a real balanced breakfast each day.
