I am so excited to be back to do a dietbet! My last one I did with Shay and I think that he kind of fell out of it. It was dissapointing to have him give up with no expanation as to what happened. I was doing so well and then ended up moving towards the end of the dietbet. I knew that I was never going to go back to where I used to live so I was eating at all my favorite places for the last time. Then during the move I was eating at places we would never go past again. I know excuses, excuses. BUT I am back and ready to kick some butt! I am meal planning now even though I am at home most of the day. I think it is easier to choose a healthier meal when you plan it out the night before or that morning. My favorite things to eat are hummus with various vegetables, smoothies with hemp protein, and baked brocolli. 

This morning I planned out todays meals: 

Breakfast: I usually don't eat breakfast, which isn't good I know, but I usually start my day off with a cup or two of green tea. My body can handle green tea on an empty stomach now since that is what I have been drinking for the past year allll the time. 

Lunch: Hummus and brocolli, cucumber, carrots. 

Snack: Smoothie with hemp protein. 

Dinner: Baked brocolli with rice. 

 

I know this doesn't seem like a lot, but I eat large portions of veggies. I also don't eat a lot of meat either. Sometimes I will have salads with beans on them or other meals but the ones I have above are what I really like to eat and I know that I will feel good after I eat them. 

 

I can't wait to start this dietbet! I hope to lose more weight than the goal is set for!
