This is a question I anticipate coming up a lot in the next six months, why even bother trying? So this is a reminder to myself that this weight loss process will be hard but it will be worth it.

 

I want to lose the weight because:

 

1. I want to be a good example to my students

2. I want to have kids of my own someday

3. I want to set an example for my parents

4. I want to avoid the diseases that run in my family

5. I want to have the energy to get excited about life

6. I want to have a better way of handling stress

7. I want to grow closer to God

8. I want to glorify God through this process

9. I want to look good at graduation

10. I want to amaze my friends and family

11. I want to learn how to have deeper relationships and not just run to food

12. I want to have control over what I eat and how I feel

13. I want to feel strong and competent

 

These are just to name a few. They range from super serious to silly little benefits but they are me. So here it goes, let the transformation begin!
