Well, I've done the "day one" thing so many times I can't count. But I guess there is always a "day one" when you finally hit your goal. So here we go with what I really hope is the LAST "day one". I have a very small frame, so the 222 lbs I'm carrying on a 5'7" frame doesn't look obese. I've never told anyone what I weigh that they aren't geniunely shocked. So until recently there wasn't "motivation". But when I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic, and I added the 2nd BP med, I realized this was getting serious. I've gone to gym off-and-on for about 4 years, and have a great trainer. She is so focused on healthy (not skinny) and is a great motivator. So that is going to be a HUGE plus (she even texted me at 5am to tell me to get my butt out of bed and get in the gym!). Bottom line is that it all comes back to me. I have to resolve to focus and get the journey done. With being part of this group, I'm hopeful this will be another motivator that keeps me going.
