I was tired today. It might have been the tri run through yesterday, or the fact that I have been really pushing my body in new goals...or it might just be a touch of January blues. Either way, I had a hard time getting into my work out decided to pull back a bit, doing just a 2 mile run and a 6.5 mile bike before calling it a day. Burned off my target of 500 calories in exercise, so I am not unhappy with it, but I know that I need to respect my body cues and pull back when I feel like this or I will injure myself. 

I may still do yoga tonight. Not sure yet. Or I might get some extra sleep (leaning towards sleep). 

Tomorrow, I plan on focusing on low impact activities by doing an upper body weight day as well as a pilates work out. If I skip yoga tonight, I might tack that on too and give my body a much deserved stretch. Hopefully, after that, my shins will feel up to working hard again :) 

Either way, the plan is to crunch down hard on my eating over the next few days and make sure that I am only taking in proportionate calories to what I am burning off...which means no chocolate cake tonight for me ;)
