So I took the plunge and told people at work I'm trying to lose weight and get fit. Social psychology research has found that if you tell everybody what you want to achieve (whether it be losing weight, saving up for something, etc) you are more likely to succeed since you would fear other people's judgement and you would also have people keeping you accountable for your word since they will probably be asking how you are going. And now there's no going back!!
I have been super busy with work and socializing that I have slacked off with my exercise regime. And with Valentines Day and Chinsee new year coming up it will be super tempting to chow down all the chocolate, sweets and radish cakes! (And I just made a tiramisu for my boyfriend but I would only allow myself one slice!! ><)
But I'll try harder next week to fit in exercise and more healthy home cooked meals. I'm not gonna lose this bet and anything is possible if you put your mind to it!
