the scale is finally  moving again!  after holding for several days at 131.5, then bumping up to 132, today i dropped to 103.5!!  for some reason i always gain a pound before i drop.  i did a gragh showing my weight loss and it really helped me to not be discouraged, that it was slowly dropping and progress was being made.  this ultimatley helped to keep me on track. at two weeks, when i wanted to give up, i was able to plow through and focus on the long term goal, $$$$! lol

 

so today, with 14 days left, victory is only 1 pound away.  i still need to increase exercise, a daily battle. but i have been able to adopt a few more healthy eating strategies, maintain a better attitude, and even inspired a few people along the way. breaking down the goal onto 1% incriments , as opposed to 30lbs to loose , has made this abn achievable goal. when i first mapped out my strategy to loose X pounds per week, the battle was  veiwed as an acheivable victory. today, for me to continue through week 2, when i was feeling depressed, was a huge growth step for me.  i am winning the battle against myself!p

 

looking beyond  Feb 28th, the completion of this challenge, i will maintain my weight for a few weeks, and then  start dropping another 4%, untill i get down to  my  goal of 110. i would definatley like to continue with joanna soh on a 6 month/10% challenge, which would instill a permanent life style changes.
