I used to be fairly muscular at 160lbs, but 2 years ago I found myself hitting 195 and with less muscles. I never imagines I would gain so much, but staring back at myself in the mirror proved me wrong!

A couple months ago I decided to lose some weight. Primarily to look and feel better, but also because of health. Once you hit a certain age it becomes harder and harder, so I better jump into gear today. 'Why wait for tomorrow when you can do it today.' I told myself that right before I dropped that 4x4 from in-and-out and started my journey. I tell myself that everyday, for other obsticles in my life too. I haven't lost much since I started, but the scale is going down. Progress! I'll keep moving forward, however slow the scale dips, and eventually I'll get to where I want to be. Maintenance mode is easier than weight loss in my book. It's the laziness I'll have to watch out for in the end :)
