It's time to change.
I never really struggled with my weight until about 2 years ago, when I got pregnant with my third child. I indulged in all my cravings for cheese puffs and cheese popcorn and all kinds of junk food, and I hardly ever spent time doing exercise. I gained more than 40 lbs in that pregnancy - much more than I gained in my previous two. I am still at the weight I was at the end of my pregnancy. I lost 15-20 lbs at first, but my sedentary life and stress eating have taken their toll.
I am cheap. I hate losing money. I also have a goal to lose 30 pounds by the time I turn 30 in mid-May.
My plan is to log my food, even if I go over my calorie count for the day. I will be using the SparkPeople app on my Android phone. I will also be working out using a free month of DailyBurn and my free membership to Jazzercize (I help with childcare 2 hours per week, so they give me free Jazzercise!) Good luck to you all! I hope I can follow through.
Right now I am struggling to feel like I can eat anything good with such a low calorie allowance. How do the rest of you get through this? Let me know what tips or strategies you might have!
