I'm not sure what else to call it, but yesterday I dropped into a new "decade". Weighing in at 179.4, I finally busted my way through the 180s and brought my total weight loss to 75 lbs in 13 months (BMI down from 40 to 28!!)

My original 2015 goal weight was 170. I knew that I would struggle with these 30 lbs more than I did with the first fifty- it gets harder as I get lighter...but now I am thinking that maybe 170 was setting my sights a little low. I have revised my goal to hit 170 by the end of April, and then 160 by the end of July. That will bring me to the 'normal' BMI range and definitely put me at my lighest in my entire adult life.

But mostly, I am starting to focus on my strength and my endurance. I have a triathlon sprint coming up, and would love to do a half marathon come September. Those will require a fair amount of work and training, and that might require me to turn my focus away from weight loss for a little while.

So the plan is now to do another dietbet. One more should bring me within ounces of my 170 goal and would be a great way to round out this entire process. After that, we'll see where we go.

Took it easier today with a 5km incline walk (3.9mph/50 minutes) and my T25 Ab routine. It's supposed to be a double work out day, but I am spreading it out to tomorrow so as to minimize water retention from muscle gain in the last few days of the challenge.

Tomorrow, i will do a run, and another T25 (Sprint) before heading out for a fancy (and calorie filled!) anniversary dinner with my love. Then I will have 48 hours to undo the damage :P

I bought myself a scandalously tight (for me) fancy dress- I can't actually believe that I am fitting into a medium...wow...- and am excited to take the night off :)
