I've never been much of an oatmeal fan until this recipe.  Its almost like a soft granola.  This isn't a super low fat or low carb recipe, but it is packed with fiber, protein, and whole grains.  I use the Our Best Bites Baked Oatmeal as the base and mix in all sorts of "goodies."  Also, I always use 1/2 applesauce 1/2 oil, and I have even put a scoop of vanilla protein powder in with the milk mixture for an added protein punch.  Here are some of my favorite combinations:

-3/4c cup toasted almond slices, 3/4 c craisins, 1 diced apple

-1-2 cups diced peaches, 3/4 c pecans

-2 cups frozen mixed berries

And if you love coconut, it tastes great in any of the combinations.
