Week 1 of my first dietbet (I have two going) is done, and I am on track so far.
Started Beta Round of T25- So much awesome!
Today, I am doing Zumba and T25 Speed 2.0- so a solid 1.5 hours of sweaty cardio and muscle work. Then I will finish with four rounds of abs work (25 push ups, 50 sit ups, 1 min plank X4) so it will be a good calorie burn day.
I need to reign in my eating again. I'm still not doing horribly, but I haven't been as aware of it as I need to be to shed the extra pounds this late in the game. I may actually track again for a day or two to see if i can find out what times of day are my weak spots and get those more controlled by using extra hydration. But ultimately, I'm still losing at a steady rate of 1-2% per week, so I am not overly concerned about it right now.
Signing up for a 5km, 10km, half marathon AND a triathlon sprint this summer so I have a lot of fitness to do after these dieting challenges are done. I'm pretty comfortable with the 10km run and the Triathlon sprint now, but a ways away still from the half marathon. I have until September for that one, which is good because I will need every week I can get. Intense training for that begins on May 1st, with a 14 week out schedule. The race I chose is in glorious Camrose, Alberta- probably one of the most beautiful towns in North America. I am so exicted for this end of summer reward/treat vacation with my family!
