I have my work cut out for me over the next 4 weeks.  I can do this if I stay focused, work hard, be diligent and get encouragement from others.  The pounds I want to shed in the next four weeks are pounds that cling hard and fast to me.  I'm going to keep a mental picture in my mind of the satisfaction I will feel in four weeks when I hop on that scale and see I hit my goal.  It's time to bring my A-game!  I think I need to treat this like a job, something that I need to do in order to live.

Well actually, I think I need to think of this as even more than a job.  Instead I need to think of this as my passion.  We usually find time for the things we like or that matter to us .  I want to grow passionate about fitness and exercise and good health.   I have alot to learn about nutrition, how the body works, food and the food industry, and good techniques for people my age to get and keep their bones, muscles and balance strong.  And if I could make it fun, that would be even better.  

So, I've gone from focusing on the next 4 weeks to something way bigger.  Better stick to the next 4 weeks....for now!
