I lapsed on the blogging wagon recently, and I think it might be part of why I really struggled with motivation last month. 

My goal is to take five minutes or less every single day this month to check in and blog about how the day went. I have the time, and I am on the internet anyway. At least I can log how i am feeling and how I am doing. That way, no matter whether I win or lose, I will know how hard I worked along the way!

So today, I ran 5 km. I did it in 27 minutes and 36 seconds- my personal best time (I think...there were ipod issues on a few of my runs.) My goal is to get that time down to under 27 minutes- and I think I can do it. I was winded, but more mentally tired than physically tired. 

I am thinking of doing an impromptu 5km race this weekend just to see what the experience is like. I have never done a race before and the idea excites me. 

I also have date night tonight. It's our first in over a month- so very overdue. I have promised myself that i won't eat all the popcorn tonight...so we may opt for a walk instead of a movie ;)
