If You Have A Sweet Tooth - Try These Healthy Oatmeal Cookies

I recommend making a batch of these sweet treats and freezing them individually so you can throw them into your car or purse when you need something sweet. There is no oil or refined sugar in the recipe.                                         In a food processor - 3 cut up soft bananas, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1/4 cup almond milk, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, 1/3 cup applesauce and 1 flax egg (directions below). Process until smooth. Put into large bowl and add 2 cups of oats, 1 teaspoon baking powder and 1/2 cup of raisins. Combine. On 2 baking sheets lined with parchment paper -  spoon walnut size balls on to the cookie sheet keeping them 2 inches apart -Bake at 350 degrees F for approximately 15-20 minutes. You can also add some slivered baked coconut on top for added sweetness.

**to make a flax egg, put one tablespoon of ground flax seed in a small bowl - add 2 1/2 tablespoons of water - whisk and place in refrigerator for 10 minutes to thicken.
