I'm both excited and hesitant to start this Diet Bet. Excited, because of the potential to excel. Hesitant because of the potential for failure. Meh...you gotta live, right?! I'm choosing to excel.

So, I haven't been to the gym in months because I've been working and traveling so much with my husband. I don't really see the gym as a necessity though. Instead, I worked on my flip house. I was there from 10 AM - 3:30 PM. 5 hours of continuous labor. I sanded the desktop, installed cabinet hardware, painted three doors, and the livingroom, kitchen, bathroom and garage. Yeah, you should see my biceps...they are screaming, but I'm feeling stronger already.

I am positive that I didn't eat enough calories or the "right" food today, but it wasn't awful.

Breakfast: 3 oz steak, 1/2 roasted sweet potato, small smoothie with fruit and kale, coffee with cream, coconut oil and honey.

Lunch: sweet potato chips and guacamole, beef jerky

Dinner: One slice of BBQ pizza (Now this is just ridiculous. I haven't had gluten, tomato, or cheese for over a year! My hubby went to visit some friends at Papa Johns and they gave him a free pizza. When he came to pick me up from work, I ate a piece. I wasn't craving it and could have resisted, but I didn't. Hoping it doesn't come back to haunt me tomorrow!)

The plan for tomorrow:

Drink more water, eat more veggies
