Just like that, we tend to lose track of time. What seemed like yesterday was indeed almost a year ago today. I've realized that time waits on noone and if your not careful, time will pass you by. I can remember how excited I was to leave 2015 behind and start 2016 with a clean slate. To be perfectly honest, I'm sure like many of us, that initial excitement I had of reaching new goals and mildstones, soon disolved and my conditioned thought processes went right back to doing the same old things I had been doing, or should I say lack of doing, just like the previous years. How many times are you going to secretly tell yourself...I promise, this year is really it, this time around I'm going to stay motivated and commited to my goals, this time around I'm going to start something and make it through the finish line no matter what, this time around will be different, I'm ready for change. At the end of the day, your just kidding yourself.

As I write this, my time being around 2am, I sit here near the hospital bed that my dear friend has been in for the last 4 days. A blood transfusion later and several lab tests and she's still here. Before she fell asleep, she told me that I was very lucky to be healthy and not to ever take it for granted. It's crazy how the simple things in life are our greatest blessings like being able to walk talk, and hear; yet we take it for granted. I've realized that time waits on noone and if your not careful, time will pass you by.

Now why is it that we keep our goals and dreams a secret? The real answer is, we're so used to kidding ourselves. That's right! When we have noone but ourselves to dissapoint or be accountable to, it's that much easier to make excuses on why we didn't take action. What's that old saying, "out of sight, out of mind". Instead of keeping your goals and dreams a secret this coming up new year, I'd like to challenge you to tell someone what your ambitions are; I challenge you to tell as many people as you can. This little action step I promise will liberate you from making excuses for yourself of why you can't or won't start your journey. It's one thing to lie to yourself, it's another thing to lie to and dissapoint a group of people. We all have our own WHY's and personal goals but what I've noticed is, there's a synergy and a positive powerful force of being around like minded individuals that want to also succeed and become a better version of themselves. What's that old saying "birds of a feather flock together."

I've created this weight loss game so that we can flock together and celebrate our mildstones. I've created this weight loss game so that we can empower, motivate, and keep each other accountable all while appreciating the journey and the experience of self-betterment. I've created this weight loss game to keep you focused and your eye on the prize. I've created this weight loss game so that we can start the month of January on a great note and moving only forward towards your success. If your ready to get out of your old bad habits and create a positve lasting change, I ask that you join my Weight Loss Game.  I can promise you as the organizer that I will create quality content and share my proven methods and strategies that I have succesfully used for myself and my personal training clients to reach succesfull fitness goals.
