I'm both excited and nervous to start a new month and my first six month Diet Bet! I have been on an 18 month healthy living adventure. I started what I call a modified Paleo lifestyle in March 2013. I lost 59 pounds over the next year and maintained that until this spring/summer when I gotta lazy food wise. I started exercising but quit being as picky about my food. I gained about 7 pounds back.

On September I started my first 30 day DietBet and went back to my paleoish lifestyle (I eat a paleo diet but don't take it to the level of totally organic, non-gmo etc). I lost 12 pounds and now weigh less than I have in 27 years!

Succeeding at this 6 month bet would get me under 200 pounds for the first time since I was pregnant with 27 year old! 

Goals:

  1. 190 pounds
  2. Exercise 3 times a week
  3. drink more water - 120 oz a day...every day
  4. Blog about this experience weekly 
  5. spend time in prayer and the Bible daily
