Made the commitment to finally get rid of this extra baggage! I have decided on the Mediterranean Diet for this bet. I am hoping that I can develop a liking for fish. Poultry will be easy for me. Wish me luck!

Stocked up at the store for the weekend. Weather turning cold here and there's talk of snow, so thinking soup is in order. Also ordered some Mediterranean Diet (MD) cookbooks. Need some No Meat ideas ex: legumes based dishes. Thinking to buy Garmin Vivofit Fitness Band to keep track of my swim laps. Anyone have any experience with water proof fitness bands? Down 1.3 for day 2.

Good plans gone awry! My husband is sick, so my planned meal is no good. He is drinking malts from DQ! So I made whole grain rice and beans (30 mins to cook) and I added peppers, celery onion and chicken to it. Also, I melted a little Laughing Cow over the top. Pretty tasty. Then went to have my hair cut and feel great... While stopping at Target on the way home, I got a call from my Father saying he is coming for the weekend. Of course he is always welcome, but this weekend I was planning to swim and clean my house. He is bringing AE Cottage Cheese which is my favorite!!
Tonight, after work I am going out to dinner with Dad and my siblings. Already picked out my entree from the online menu! I checked out the nutrition listings to find the right choice. I will try to walk instead of swimming, so I won’t be gone too long. Didn’t weigh in today… afraid the rice was too much? I will tomorrow!

Weekends are hard! But lost again (-0.9)! Yea! Did a good job at the resturant and stuck to my choice. I didn't even have a cocktail. Guests for the weekend, but still stayed on track. Now just got to get moving! Unfortunately, we are having a snow storm today and outside is off limits. I will walk around the building (work) at lunch today.

Good soup night... only 5 or 6 inches of fresh snow. They forcasted 12-16, so should feel gratefull! So had left over chicken and veg soup and grilled cheese sandwich. Had some tea and made it to bed by 10.

Going to the store tonight after work. Think I will make some chili. I putit into indiviual serving bowls and freeze it. When I want it for work, I take it out the night before and put into fridge. Mostly thawed by lunch time. Yumm! Walking the triplex at work before lunch.
