WOW Happy 2015!

I am proud to say I QUIT SMOKING! Back in September I took the plunge into throwing out the one thing I found so much comfort in... my cigarette. I knew doing this with already being 10 lbs heavier then usual was not an excuse not to do it. The time had come and how could I want to live a healthier lifestyle and still smoke? Oxymoron isn't it!

Fast forward 3 months - Guess what happened. Weight gain. Yup see the funny thing when you quit smoking is appetite opens up, metabolism slows and your just trying to figure out what to do with those darn hands of yours. frown emoticon

Now the next leg of my final quest for optimal health begins again and you know what Im so excited! Im proud to say that I have managed to put on 15 extra pounds for a grand total of 25lbs. Are you scratching your head because I said" Im proud to say."
I say this because Im living 80-20 full tilt. Exercising again and drinking plenty of the wet stuff ( water!) .

You see I've moved my last mountain out of the way and I feel so empowered that the number on the scale doesn't defy me. My positive thoughts do. Ive made a lot of changes to my life , to better my life this New Year and its all has one common thread. Positivity.

I have come to realize that when we have a positive out look and keeps positive influences around us well... If we are what we eat then we are who we stay with.

So CHEERS to clean, organic and whole eating. To daily exercise and positivity. To re connecting to the most important person, you.
I have 2 girlfriends that keep me honest and accountable. Connie and Vesna I can't thank you enough for being honest friends that only except the best version of me possible because any less would be a true shame.

Move daily, Stay thirsty( for water) and be healthy friends
