So I am thinking, like I do always, about becoming slim, being healthy, feeling fit, wearing clothes I like not because they mask my heaviness, knowing my BMI is in the normal range, and all of the motivators behind my goal to lose pounds. I am thinking about this game and games I might play at home: lose a pound put 5 bucks in the fun jar! Take yourself out to a bookstore or a movie or a marathon after you exercise for 5 days every week for two weeks. But really for me I think it comes down to focus.

If I can keep myself aware, accountable, and active I am pretty sure, looking back on previous successes, this will be a "nothin-but-net-swish" moment. So to add to my focus I am going to commit to three tools:

A reasons, tools and plan card

3 five miinute focus sessions daily

And a once a week weigh in posted here

Reasons,Tools,Plan Card

A 3x5 card kept handy to read before I eat. On it I will have my motivators, my tools to redirect in chancy moments, and my plan for portions and food. I commit to reading this prior to anything passing my lips. Anything.

3 five minute focus sessions per day

I will spend time being meditative, focusing on my breathing, and building my tolerance for attending to what it is I am doing so I can strengthen that part of my brain which can catch me when I am about to go outside my goals.

Weigh in

I am doing this for me and I need to be accountable and know if I am on track. A weigh in here with some feedback and support from others is what will help me achieve and stick with it.

I am in it to win it and I would love to have you help me with this. I will do the same for you. Want my feedback and support too? Let me know below. Let's do this.
