Hello everyone!

Today I have little bits and bobs in my mind I would like to share. I hope everyone finds something positive to take away from this quick blog post :)

Firstly, I won my previous dietbet. I cannot even describe how happy I am since it was my first one. I hit the goal EXACTLY, but still, I am very happy. I lost 2.8kg in one month even though I had all of the end of semester work to do. Usually, I would just use it as excuse for eating unhealthy and not exercising but not this time.

As a result of my weight loss, I am much happier. Although it was just 2.8kg, I feel much more confident and pretty. I dropped one UK dress size (I bought leggins in size 12 - before I was size 14). I would never be confident enough to wear leggins as an outside clothes... Yet, this Saturday I wore them to the town! And I felt great!

I chose swimming (breaststroke) as my exercise. When I went swimming first time, I swam 1km in 1 hour and 15 minutes, with a lot of breaks. I've been swimming on Thursday (and going again tomorrow - can't wait!) and I've done 1km in 45minutes!!! I couldn't believe it. I was able to swim 25m in 40seconds! I am so happy I can see the improvement, not only in the time but also in the 'construction' of my body. I lost quite a few cm's around my waist - me and my belly are not in the 'danger' zone anymore!

This month is going to be difficult for me. I have my final exams plus I also need to move. I will also travel (and that is also tricky). After that , I will spent my summer at home (which means household full of not always so healthy food). I need to prepare for this and I believe that dietbetting keeps me one track and also keeps me away from excuses.
