Greetings Beast Buddies!

As we all continue on our journey and anxiously await the release of Hammer & Chisel, I wish you all a healthy and rewarding experience. If you've followed my meal posts you may have notice my consistent use of "Love Spice." I sprinkle it on nearly everything; eggs, veggies, salads, fish and chicken. My Love Spice is often used it in lieu of salt & pepper. It's half salt and half other. Remember, it's salt so sprinkle lightly.

Great flavors I enjoy but cannot afford the calories of fancy sauces or the time of complicated dressings. In a dash, my salads are simply dressed with Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) and balsamic vinegar or fresh lemon juice and "Love Spice" to taste. Efficient, healthy and flavorful otherwise described as "fitlicious".

The recipe below was inspired by a wedding favor received from friends, a Chef and a Catering Manager. Many commercial spice blends contain sugar and "stuff" so I decided to blend my own to my personal taste. Feel feel free to do the same. Visit your local spice store such as The Spice & Tea Exchange and tantalize your senses as you sample various flavor combinations or request suggestions. Perhaps you'll come up with your very own blend!
