I love to cook so I thoight maybe sharing recipes would be a good way to keep me on track! I need help continuing to be creative and healthy on a budget though!

I had some brisket in my freezer from a dinner party a while back. On Pinterest, I found a brisket taco recipe. I got a crockpot for my birthday last week and decided to try it for the first time! Why have I never used a crockpot, so easy and time saving!! I think it may be the best invention ever! So I used water, garlic, cumin, coriander, chilli powder and salt and pepper as a rub on the brisket. I let it cook on slow for about 9 hours. Then it fell apart like butter. I used lettuce and topped with avocado and Greek yogurt. Easy, tasty, and healthy! I would say a win win! I'll have leftovers tonight..

i had had extra lobster I didn't finish from New Years eve so for lunch I made a cold lobster salad. I boiled an egg, added lettuce, avocado, a little lemon juice and some olive oil and pepper! Boom an expensive salad on a budget!
