So I started my weightloss journey in February 2017.

I was a college basketball player and after I had a career ending knee injury, I put on a massive amount of weight. Ever since I was ten I was training to be a basketball player, and once I couldn't do that anymore I did not want to do anything active.

So no longer having the motivation to wokrout mixed witha  very bad reaction to a certian birth control. I gained 50 lbs in 3 months. Fast forward 7 years and I had put on more than 100lbs.

In 2016, I was diagnosed with brachial neuritis, which doesn't really have a cause but it when your arm just goes numb, resulting in nerve damage that can take forever to heal. It causes your arm to become weak and its  painful to the point that I couldn't not do anything but sit on the couch and be a drugged out vegatable from February to June 2016.  After months of physiotheropy, I  was able to manage the pain and use my arm again.  While I still have pain and my fingers go numb from time to time, it is no where as bad as it use to be and I can function normally.

When I finally could do things with my arm again, my husband and I would go shoot around with a basketball, started out playing horse and very gently shooting again. Over the next coupld months, we started playing on 3v3 half court teams.
