How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Gotta admit - pretty disappointed. 6 months of hard work for $7.44 win. I realize that I didn't win any of the other rounds, but the end result should be the biggest payout. There was $976k in the pot and less than 50% of the participants met the goal! 2818 * $7.44 is only ~$21k. Glad I got the weight off, but $7??

I'm happy you got all that weight off too!
To be fair, your original comment didn't sound like you were thrilled. In fact, it didn't sound that way at all. You mentioned it only as an afterthought at the end, and even closed with a "but".

Whatever, I wish you success in the future and hope you get to your goal weight.

Hello Barbara - don't take any of the responses personally, remember that online chatter con at times be very unemotional and very cold. With a $7 net win for the entire game, that would mean that you paid $125 up front with $12.50 going to rounds 1-5 and $67.50 going to round 6. If you look at the net winnings from round 6 alone, you won $132.44 on a $67.50 bet. When looking at the math on the pot....$497625 pot minus 25% (admin fees) leaves $373218.75. That amount divided up among 2818 winners is $132.44 with a net profit on that round alone of $64.94. I posted previously a breakdown of the gross and net profits pasted below.

********************************************
The round 6 payout was $132.44 with a bet of $62.50 for round 6 only (assuming the bet was placed as a lump sum and not a month by month payment). Remember that half of your entire bet went into round 6. Rounds 1-5 had a bet of $12.50. With monthly gross winnings of $12.79, $19.75, $25.82, $25.72, $25.33 and $132.44 respectively - the amount of net winnings per month would be $0.29 , $7.25, $13.32, $13.22, $12.83, and $69.94 respectively. The reason it only shows a $7 net win is because of the $125 pay in for all 6 rounds and the only payout was for round 6.

Congrats on winning and you loss of 10% of your weight!
