For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

My first dietbet experience was terrible and it will be my last. 😔

Seeing others lose weight while I am plateaued for a full month is upsetting and knowing I've thrown my hard earned dollars at it makes it worse.

The suggestions by people to give up soda or switch between cardio and weights made me feel completely hopeless. I've been doing that; it hasn't been working. I only drink water and black coffee. It isn't my beverage choices holding me back.

Seeing everyone's highlight reels and getting regular emails and push notifications about it are demotivating.

I'm sure this strategy worked for a lot of you but it failed to help me. I'm already doing what I ned to do to help strengthen and improve my body and health. 💪

Comparing my personal progress to only me and not competing with others is a far more helpful tactic for me.
