How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

  • Hello everyone! For those of you who might not know me - my name is Lexi. I joined my first dietbet in 2016 and lost over 300lbs naturally in 2 years. Dietbet was one of the best tools I found for my journey and that's why I now host and am continuing my journey with you all! Thank you all for being here and welcome to our tribe! This community we have built is amazing and I hope you'll enjoy all the love, support, and encouragement I see here daily. Together we are losing weight but gaining our lives back one pound at a time! A few tips to start our game:
    - Track your food! I use myfitnesspal to actively track all of my food and it helped me to also learn about portion control plus reading food labels. I don't follow a meal plan but aim to eat more protein, vegetables, and less carbs. Diet is key!
    - Move! Use this month to take the stairs, do squats at your desk, walk to work - just move! In the beginning my goal was the elliptical for 30 mins 5x a week and just adding that literally helped me shed the pounds!
    - Progress Photos: Be sure to take ALL the photos as you will want them in the future - I PROMISE YOU. Plus we can't wait to see your transformation!
    - Let's connect! Tag #fatgirlfedupsdietbet on all social so we can find you, cheer you on & be friends! Make sure to also be active in our game to make it even more fun! Let's see those selfies & recipes, etc!
