How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

Here are 3 things to help you in preparation for our game!

1. Clean out your pantry/refrigerator and put together a meal or nutrition plan for the next 30 days. If you need help with this I have Meal Plans where I already did the work for you! Use code: DIETBETTRIBE for 10% off your purchase. There are so many different nutrition plans out there, find what works best for you and stick with it! You do not have to use my plan or what I did at all. We are all different and lasting success will be dictated by your ability to stick with what you choose! 2. Accountability. This is very important. maybe the most important. Breaking food addiction is hard, it's even harder without help. When I made the choice to makeover my lifestyle I knew that the more I kept it private the easier it would be to fall back into old habits.
I had to expose myself.
I can't stress enough how important community and accountability is during this process and that's part of the reason I love these Dietbets!
3. Get some movement in. You don't have to exercise just dance while you're doing the dishes. Sweep the floor instead of running the Roomba. Scour the bathroom, fold the laundry. There you go, movement, that's all that you're after! Just get your body moving and it will go a long way in assisting you with this lifestyle change!
Consistency is key! Find a way of eating that is going to be sustainable for you. Reach out if you need help. Connect with others who are on the same path and don't let yourself become discouraged if the needle on the scale isn't moving as quickly as you'd like. Slow and steady wins this race, endurance trumps speed in this game every time.

Brittany, can you private message me? I got diagnosed with pneumonia last week and I am on prednisone and I am having a hard time losing and exercising. I even tried hiking yesterday because I am feeling better but I still couldn't keep up and was just wiped out. I love diet bet and I always win and take these seriously but I have some extenuating circumstances this month and don't know what to do. I also have 2 other diet bets going on other than this one...
