For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I’m not sure whether to still post here now that the game is over, but it can’t hurt to try! I’ve been thinking about Jamie’s comment regarding intermittent fasting and also fasted cardio. I tend to follow intermittent fasting because it works well for me, but I also tend to do my workout very early in the morning. So essentially I’m doing a fasted workout - which Jamie says is counterproductive. Does anyone else come across the same situation? Where they’re fasting but also do morning workouts? If you’re in the same boat, would you make any changes moving forward?

I train early in the morning also (have to be done between by 5 am) and eat a small bit or a smoothie while getting ready and going right into the workout. I may also be doing strength training plus cardio, so it helps to have food. I save breakfast for after the workout. There is mixed information on the issue but the bottom line for me is the benefit of preserving muscle which makes it a win-win for me, though it took a little getting use to. It appears that fasted cardio is good for specific circumstances, so I suggest experimenting a bit and see what your results are.
