How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

So I switched from using my fitness pal and eating 1600 calories/day to using lifesum. I kind of regret it. I have my Fitbit connected to my lifesum account and it is trying to make me eat a crazy amount of calories! Yesterday I was 200 calories under their goal and I ‘gained’ 1.8 pounds. And it was making me feel like I was starving myself because they encourage you to eat and if you’re under then it’s “healthy not hangry! Do your friends a favor and eat more!” I have it set to lose weight the fastest they offer, yet they’re trying to make me, a 5’4” girl eat 3k calories! I’m going to go back to my fitness pal!

Yah that’s why I don’t use it either. I am 5’0” & work a desk job. They should really consider height, body type, & activity level.

I love myfitnesspal and have it linked to my Fitbit. It really keeps me on track and has been working so far :)
