How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

Congratulations to everyone who made their goal! Be proud in this moment and keep the progress going. For everyone who didn’t meet this goal (myself included) our journeys are lifelong, this chapter is just another learning opportunity and be proud for the effort you put in, the commitment you made to improving your health, and keep positive. So I’ve lost yet another game. But I’m day 62 off the smokes and the dr has just cut my bp medication down to 2mg. Not my reg gp hence the reduction rather than cutting it altogether. So I guess I’ll take that as a win.

I didn’t make it. It’s kind of frustrating since I have been working out every day for 1 and a half-2 hours going from doing nothing. I don’t drink my calories; and I have been watching my portions sizes... but i think I did lose fat, but I replaced it with muscle in my legs from all my working out.. since muscle ways more than fat?

You could be retaining water to try to help repair your muscles from all the working out... don’t let it discourage you... keep up the hard work and it will pay off in the end. I didn’t make it either, but it’s not the end of my journey... just another chapter.


I used to diet and exercised a lot with no resultes so i know the frustration. It all changed for me when my doctor told me i had to cut all carbs (rice, potato, fruits, etc). Since i cut the carbs of my life i finally start to lose weight. Now i only eat proteins and healthy fats. Hope this helps :)

Soooo relieved I won!! I’m at a plateau and starting to do reverse dieting (adding more cals to my diet) and I just barely won! I’m in two other DietBet that started last week but after that I think I’m gonna take a break for a while! It’s a lot of pressure and stress to continuously lose weight. I’ve been doing back to back games since September.

I’ve lost a bunch of games back to back after winning my first 3 in a row. I’ve come close a few times. This time I ended above my start weight. But I’ve been quitting smoking and had Xmas/new year etc.. and I’ve got other victories. Like day 62 smoke free. My bp medication has just been halved this morning. But I’m gonna take a break for a month or so as well. Just do my own thing without the pressure or stress or knowing I’m throwing away money.
