How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • Eating right can be so difficult sometimes, especially if you have some pretty long standing habits to work through. What has helped you guys push through those old habits to form healthier ones? Did the change last for you? If so, how were you able to maintain a healthier diet, that wasn't just a diet, but a lifestyle change? We learn so much from each other. Thank you in advance for any advice you can share. :)

    Health tip:
Here's a recommendation for those who are trying to cut more sugar out of their diet. Use honey, molasses, or syrup as a substitute. They are all less processed and are more beneficial for your overall health.

One of the biggest and most impactful changes that I’ve made is reducing pastas and replacing it with either veggies or grains (like quinoa and farro). It has really helped me lose weight and keep it off. It is also easy to stick with because I can use the same recipes that I did with pasta, so the flavors are the same, but it’s a lot healthier.

Such a smart plan. These substitutes make such a big difference! Great job Janessa!
