How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

If you had a friend who was constantly putting you down and saying thinks like...

    - You can't run.
    - You'll never lose weight.
    - Why do you even bother?
    - You'll never finish that race.
    - That outfit looks terrible on you.
    - (You get the idea....)

...would you still be friends with that person? Now consider this: how often do you say similar things to yourself? Instead of building yourself up, do you often tear yourself down?

Make a habit out of saying negative things about yourself. And you'll start believing it. Example: I can't run a mile without stopping.

Instead of seeing that statement as a negative, shift it to a positive. Instead you could say: I was able to run more than half a mile without stopping!

See the difference? In the negative version, you're downplaying your accomplishment and focusing on what you CAN'T do. And in the positive version, you're building yourself up by talking about how far you were able to run without stopping. Big difference.

Positive thoughts will lead to a positive attitude. And with a positive attitude, you can be unstoppable.

In short, be the sun in the sky not the rain cloud. Love yourself enough to be a good friend to yourself.

What's a way you can take a negative and turn it in to a positive?
