How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Hello people! Are you ready for Easter food? XD
I will spend a whole week at my parents', with my mother cooking all the traditional Easter dishes. Wish me luck, it will be a really challenging week!
Do you have any "trick" to suggest?

When I'm being very mindful at family events, I try a little of everything. I do it all at once so I can see how much I've eaten and don't snack throughout the day. My family typically does an appetizer spread, then dinner. So what this looks like in practice is I get a plate and put a small portion (one or two bites) of each app on my plate, and similarly at dinner, I get a small portion of everything (bigger of the lower cal foods like roasted asparagus). I find that after the apps, I'm pleased and appreciated trying everything and after dinner, I'm pretty darn full and satisfied. I don't miss out on the foods I love, but I keep the caloric impact to a minimum. (it's still over my general calorie target but it's not like, doubling or tripling like I used to). Oh and on Easter, obviously I steal a few pieces of candy from the kid baskets for dessert :P not really a trick, but I really dislike feeling deprived and this approach helps me stick to my goals.

Spread your food thin on the plate, no piles, start with broth based soup if there is any.
