How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Honest question here, is anyone on WW or thinking of joining? I’ve realized that my issue is I’m not always super honest with myself when calorie counting? Aka I think, what a healthy salad, but there’s EVOO in the salad dressing that I didn’t count, etc etc. WW is currently doing a promo so I’m thinking of maybe joining, but I’m wary that it’ll be a effective while I’m doing but I’ll either be stuck with it forever, or I’ll gain a lot back when stopping

I just joined again last week. I made lifetime over 20 years ago and I have gone back a few times in between. The program works when you work the program. As long as you are sticking within your points and not way overdoing the free foods, you will lose weight. I am really focusing this time and I’m hoping it will help kickstart me again. Tracking calories just isn’t working for me right now. I got a good deal too, so it was a good decision for me. I do really like the new program. It makes me want to choose the healthier choices for snacks knowing they are 0 points. If I’m hungry after dinner I will pick a 0-1 point snack over anything else.

I signed up for the Noom app 2 months ago and have really liked it. My mom is a WW fan and she tells me there are similar but Noom does actual calorie counting as well as a lot of psychology around eating and food/self compassion and goal setting. If you are interested, the first 2 weeks are free but it’s about $40 a month after that.
