Hey guys! Welcome to my dietbet! I am looking forward to all of us starting this year strong and the support. With that being said I wanted to go over a few things to start our game off the right way.
-My name is Danny and I have lost 95lbs with diet and exercise. I didn't follow a certain meal plan but I did a combination of weight lifting and cardio while watching my nutrition. I pay attention to portion control, eating less carbs, and I try to eat more protein and vegetables. I look forward to sharing with you the foods I eat, different workouts, and challenges for us to complete together.
-Some things that have worked for me to lose my weight is to always make sure I am drinking enough water and well hydrated. I also like to take the foods that i'm craving and make healthier versions. If I am super hungry I like to have high volume meals such as a big salad and I use less dressing and healthier toppings. I also have found that I enjoy going to the gym and lifting weights. I also add in cardio and I set goals for myself. Find a workout that you enjoy and start setting small goals such as 30 minutes of cardio 4-5x a week. Any type of movement and being more active will help you.
-Reward yourself for your hard work, but learn to change your mentally with food. Food doesn't have to be the reward and once we change our mindset we can change our life. Diet is most important!
