How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

Can you believe we're wrapping up week three? We have one more week to go before final weigh ins begin next Friday.

Here are some things to really focus on in this last week of the challenge.

- Focus on whole foods and limit your intake of processed foods. Processed foods tend to have extra sodium added. And sodium can lead to a "false" weight gain due to water retention.

- Prepare more meals at home and eat out less. Restaurants also add more salt than you likely do at home. Plus, you'll save a little money and have more control over how your food is prepared.

- Drink your water!

- Don't get crazy and start up a new weight training program, or try out a new exercise class. To take a complicated subject and put it in the simplest terms - sore muscles tend to retain water to aid recovery. If you're starting up something new that your body isn't used to doing, it could cause the scale to bounce up (even though you didn't actually gain weight). Hope that makes sense!

- And lastly, be positive! Remember, positive thinking begets positive results!

Keep moving and get some more steps in! I park a little farther from the door, I take the stairs and get up to move every hour.

THE SCALE DOES NOT DEFINE YOU!!! Yes, for this challenge you have to lose 4% to make your money back, but many people lose inches before weight. So eve if you don't lose the 4%, DON'T GIVE UP! Take your measurements and know that you've got this!
