My friend recently gave me some of the best diet advice I had ever heard. It may seem obvious to some, but wasn’t to me. She said: instead of counting calories, try to stick to a general routine during the week. For example: some sort of egg dish for breakfast, a salad for lunch, and meat/veggies for dinner. That way when you do splurge, it has less of an impact. I’m excited to try this!

This is probably the best for maintaining weight. Counting calories might be better for losing weight but it’s exhausting.
