How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Hi, I’m brand new here and could not be more pumped to do this. I was one of the youngest people in the US diagnosed with PCOS at the age of 8. It’s been 16 years since that diagnoses and I’ve finally decided to stop using my disease as an excuse to neglect my body and my health. I want to be proud of my body and proud of my life- my weight is not PCOS’ fault- it’s mine. At 8 years old I was absolutely horrified by my stretch marks that gave me curves and was miserably embarrassed when I had my first period at 9 because of PCOS. However, beyond those trivial things, every binge session, weekend on the couch, and time I’ve turned down activities because they were “too much exercise” was a choice. It wasn’t PCOS’ fault! It’s long overdue to hold myself accountable for myself in every part of my life.
