How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

So, this is my first diet bet. I really need the motivation and really want to get healthy. This morning I woke up coughing up a lung and feeling like crap. I don't want to derail my first bet. Any thoughts or tips on staying motivated when you're sick?

Once I consistently started eating better and working out, I rarely got sick, felt sluggish or got the dreaded brain fog. At most I would get a mild headache but that was because I was doing a low carb diet and when that happened, I would increase my carb intake and felt better. I know it sounds cliche but your diet really does affect how you feel. It won't happen overnight but it will happen. Good luck and feel better.
