Good morning Peeps!! Happy Friday! This was a short week for me, so I am happy how fast it got to the weekend. We are on DAY 5 already - can you believe it?! I plan on still weighing in on WW tomorrow on my normal WI day, and will log it here. I am hoping for a loss this week, even though it was my birthday week. I've been known to gain FIVE pounds this week in the past, so this Diet Bet couldn't have come at a better time.

Weekends used to be tricky for me. Well, let me rephrase that. I'd do awesome Monday through Friday and then come Friday night I'd yell 'it's the weekend!!!!" and then drink all the wine and eat all the things. It was like being on a hamster wheel - lose weight during the week, regain it on the weekend and basically either maintain, or lose and gain the same 2 pounds over and over.

I now treat the weekends like the weekdays - I typically only eat two big meals on the weekend, which helps me feel like I am indulging, but still staying on plan. I usually go to bed the same time and wake up maybe at 7:30 instead of 6:30. Makes all the difference!

Already down 2 lb from last week, yay Diet Bet!! My strategy is to not drink because I eat like an asshole when I drink.

Oh man, samsie. I do great on the weekdays when I have structure, but the weekends are so chaotic I eat whatever whenever. I like the idea of giving myself two cheat meals, then sticking on-plan for the rest. At the least, it would make me be a bit more mindful of my food choices.
